No receipt

When returning diapers to Target without a receipt, several factors come into play, potentially affecting the refund or exchange you receive.

• Limited Refund Amount: Target may offer a lower refund amount if you do not have a receipt. This is because Target needs to protect itself from fraudulent returns. The refund amount may be based on the current selling price of the diapers or a prorated amount based on the original purchase date.
• Store Credit: Instead of a refund, Target may offer you a store credit for the value of the diapers. This credit can be used to purchase other items at Target.
• Managerial Discretion: In some cases, the store manager may have the discretion to approve a full refund or exchange without a receipt. This may depend on factors such as your past return history and the overall circumstances of your return.

Overall, returning diapers to Target without a receipt is still possible, but it may result in a lower refund amount or a store credit instead. It is always recommended to keep your receipt to ensure a smooth and successful return experience.
