Lori Vallow was born on June 26, 1973, in California, United States of America. As a young woman, she appeared to lead a relatively normal life, marrying her high school sweetheart and raising a family.

Friends and acquaintances described her as cheerful, friendly, and devoted to her children. However, beneath the surface, a transformation was taking place—one that would lead to an inconceivable series of events.

As time went on, Lori’s life took several unexpected turns. She married multiple times, and her personal relationships seemed to be accompanied by a string of tragedies and mysterious deaths.

Lori had three children from her previous marriage: Colby, Tylee, and J.J. The circumstances surrounding the demise of her previous husbands raised suspicions, but no concrete evidence ever emerged to implicate her.

The turning point in Lori Vallow’s life occurred when she was introduced to Chad Daybell, an author who dabbled in writing about religious and doomsday themes.

The two quickly became entangled in a fervent belief system, centered around the idea of the “end of times” and visions of supernatural beings. Their beliefs were based on a blend of religious concepts and unique interpretations, leading some to categorize them as part of a doomsday cult.

As their beliefs became more extreme, friends and family members expressed concern over the well-being of Lori’s children. Tensions escalated when Chad’s wife, Tammy Daybell, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Strangely, her death was initially ruled as natural, but later exhumation and reexamination led to her death being classified as suspicious.

In September 2019, things took a sinister turn when Tylee Ryan, Lori’s 17-year-old daughter, and 7-year-old adopted son, Joshua “J.J.” Vallow, vanished without a trace. Lori, along with her new husband Chad Daybell, fled to Hawaii soon after authorities began questioning them about the children’s whereabouts.

The investigation drew widespread media attention, and public opinion turned against Lori and Chad. Their evasive behavior only added fuel to the fire, prompting law enforcement agencies to intensify their efforts to locate the missing children.

In June 2020, after months of investigation, police located the remains of Tylee and J.J. buried on Chad Daybell’s property in Idaho. The discovery sent shockwaves throughout the nation, leaving many heartbroken and horrified by the extent of the tragedy.

Lori and Chad were arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including conspiracy to commit murder and concealing evidence. Their court hearings exposed their alleged involvement in a grim plot to eliminate Lori’s children, along with the belief that they were somehow “zombies” and that their deaths were necessary for their salvation.

Who Is Lori Vallow Lawyer?

John Thomas was famously known as Lori Vallow’s lawyer. At her sentencing on Monday, defense attorney John Thomas referred to her as a ‘very misunderstood person’ and invoked Martin Luther King Jr.

Lori Vallow was given a life sentence without the possibility of parole by Idaho Judge Steven Boyce on Monday. Boyce had earlier agreed to Vallow’s request to have the death punishment revoked.

Thomas claimed that Vallow was “the most hated woman in America right now and maybe in the world.” in a statement made before the punishment. “That hate will never bring closure to the victims,” he included. “That hate will never bring about healing to those that are hurt by this case. And hate will never bring about peace.”

Martin Luther King Jr. was quoted by Thomas as saying that only love could “drive out hate.” The only thing that can dispel darkness is light.

Boyce stated that Vallow had “lived a law-abiding life” before this case, adding, “Something radically changed in you that led you to where you are today.” when he imposed Vallow’s sentence on Monday.

In May, Vallow was found guilty of killing her two children, J.J. and Tylee, in the first degree. She was also found guilty of involvement in Tammy Daybell’s murder. When Vallow was still married, he began dating Daybell, a former gravedigger and author of books on the end of the world.

They were married soon after Tammy passed away. On June 9, 2020, J.J. and his sister Tylee, then 17 years old, were discovered interred in Daybell’s Idaho backyard.
