KEY POINTS:

Usher's wife Tameka Foster caused commotion on the set of the singer's new music video after complaining about his on screen love interest.

Foster reportedly acted like a "watchdog" on the set of his promo for 'Love in the Club', and was furious when he chose Keri Hilson as his romantic lead.

An on set source told the New York Post newspaper: "It was supposed to be a sexy video shoot. And Tameka was there the entire time guarding like a watchdog. It was ridiculous - she knows Keri and knows she's no video ho.

"But Tameka is very insecure. Even in rehearsals she was weird and clearly not happy that Keri is so gorgeous. Tameka threw a lot of attitude. The day of the shoot, Tameka dressed Keri very badly - she looked like an extra. Tameka wouldn't let Keri have her hairdresser there."

Foster - who has a four-month-old son Usher Raymond V with the singer - is said to have been frosty with Usher after the shoot.

One onlooker at the Beverly Hills Hotel revealed: "They barely said one word to each other."

Usher's manager Benny Medina denied the claims, saying: "Keri could not have been happier with Tameka's choices in the styling, hair and make-up. The shoot itself went brilliantly."
