• Copyright infringement: Plagiarism can lead to copyright infringement lawsuits, which can result in financial penalties and damage to an artist's reputation.

• Public perception: Plagiarism can damage an artist's public perception and make it difficult for them to be taken seriously as an artist.

• Racial disparities in drug arrests: African Americans are more likely to be arrested for marijuana possession than white people, even though white people use marijuana at similar rates. This disparity is due to systemic racism in the criminal justice system.
• The war on drugs: The "war on drugs" is a failed policy that has led to the mass incarceration of people of color. Marijuana possession is a low-level offense that should not result in jail time.
• The legalization of marijuana: Marijuana is now legal in many states, and the federal government is moving towards decriminalization. This is a positive step that will help to reduce the number of people who are arrested for marijuana possession.

• Stereotyping and exoticization: Cultural appropriation can also lead to the stereotyping and exoticization of black people. When white people adopt black cultural practices, they can often do so in a way that reinforces negative stereotypes about black people. This can lead to the perpetuation of racism and discrimination.
