Neymar’s Early Life And Childhood

Neymar, born on February 5, 1992, in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, is the offspring of Neymar Santos Sr. and Nadine da Silva.

His father, a former footballer, not only passed down his name but also assumed the role of his son’s advisor and agent.

Neymar’s early years were spent in a modest neighborhood in southern Brazil, where his deep love for football took root.

Witnessing his remarkable determination and talent in the sport, his parents diligently saved money to provide him with soccer balls and even a soccer video game.

By the age of 14, Neymar had accumulated a collection of 50 soccer balls, and his agility and coordination had reached astonishing levels.

This young prodigy embarked on his football journey by joining the youth academy of Santos, the club of his childhood dreams.

At just 17 years old, Neymar made his professional debut, marking the beginning of his impressive career.

Are Neymar’s Parents Still Together?

Neymar’s parents celebrated 25 years of marriage, yet in 2016, they made the difficult choice to part ways.

They chose to share this decision on social media, emphasizing their enduring friendship and continued partnership in their son’s career.

Neymar wholeheartedly supported their choice, expressing equal love for both of them.

Remarkably, even after their separation, Neymar’s parents continue to attend his matches and events together, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to remaining a united family.

Who Is The Biological Mother Of Neymar’s Son?

Neymar became a father at a remarkably early stage in his life.

His son, David Lucca da Silva Santos, was born in 2011 to his former girlfriend, Carolina Dantas.

Remarkably, Neymar was just 19 years old at the time and was not in a relationship with Carolina when she became pregnant.

Nevertheless, he wholeheartedly embraced his role as a father and regarded his son as the most precious gift in his life.

Furthermore, he consistently provides financial support for his child and maintains regular visitations.

Neymar Santos Sr. also dabbled in football during his younger days, but his career did not attain the same level of success as his son’s.

He operated as a midfielder for several lower-tier Brazilian clubs, including Portuguesa Santista, União Mogi, and Comercial-SP.

Unfortunately, injuries and financial challenges led him to retire from the sport at the age of 29.

Subsequently, he shifted gears and pursued a career as both a mechanic and a salesman to provide for his family.

In addition to his work outside of football, Neymar Santos Sr. actively coached his son’s youth teams, playing a pivotal role in nurturing and honing Neymar Jr.’s skills and distinctive playing style.

Today, he has transitioned into a successful businessman and entrepreneur, taking charge of managing Neymar’s business interests and contractual obligations.
