Jennifer Eve Garth is an American actress who rose to prominence for her roles as Kelly Taylor in the Beverly Hills, 90210 franchise and Val Tyler in the sitcom What I Like About You from 2002 to 2006.

In 2012, she debuted her own reality show on CMT called Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country. She also wrote a memoir called Deep Thoughts From a Hollywood Blonde, which was released on April 1, 2014, by New American Library.

Garth was cast as Kelly Taylor in the television series Beverly Hills, 90210 in 1990. Her character encountered many hurdles and contended with personal and familial concerns during the course of the show’s 10 seasons.

Garth’s presence in the series lasted the entire run, and she even directed two episodes, the second most of any cast member. She was nominated for a Young Artist Award and a Teen Choice Award for her performance.

Furthermore, her character became a legendary figure in the franchise, appearing in most episodes and helping to establish spin-offs such as Melrose Place and 90210.

Garth’s breakthrough on Beverly Hills, 90210 paved the path for her to take on leading roles in made-for-TV movies during the 1990s. Danielle Steel’s Star (1993), Without Consent (1994), Lies of the Heart: The Story of Laurie Kellogg (1994), and others are among the prominent films.
