Maggie Johnson and Clint Eastwood Met on a Blind Date in Los Angeles.

Eastwood was into women so much so that he didn’t mind going on a blind date. We’d give anything to know how they were set up together in the first place. A dating site is top on our suspicion list, but we doubt if such things were even rampant at that time.

The blind date took place in June 1952, a time when Eastwood who was 22 years old was yet to begin his Hollywood career and was working for an auto parts suppliers company. The romance was a whirlwind one as 6 months was all it took them to make their way down to the altar. Maggie announced their engagement in October 1953 and the wedding was held in Pasenda on the 19th of December 1953.

At the time Maggie accepted to marry Clint Eastwood, he was allegedly a father.

Before meeting Maggie, Eastwood, according to biographer Patrick McGilligan, was in a serious relationship with a certain woman in Seattle. That woman would later become pregnant with his child. But then came Maggie and Eastwood had to move on to the next one.

The mystery lady allegedly birthed a daughter who was put up for adoption before the news of Maggie’s engagement to Eastwood came to light in October 1953.

Maggie was cheated on by Clint Eastwood many times throughout their marriage.

Clint’s libido got the best of him more often than not, and his marriage did little or nothing to tame it. Call him the King Solomon of his generation and we’d solidly back you.

Eastwood’s acting career kicked off in 1955, about two years into his marriage. With his career requiring that he had to constantly be with women, it wasn’t long before Eastwood began an affair with a co-star. It was first with Roxanne Tunis, a stunt-woman he met on the set of his hit show Rawhide.

Their affair produced a daughter Kimber born on June 17, 1964. At birth, she was named Kimber Tunis, a way of keeping the info away from the media and it worked. The media remained in the dark about the lovechild until 1989 when the National Enquirer burst their bubble.

She separated from Clint Eastwood twice before their divorce was finalized.

It seemed Eastwood and Tunis were not able to keep the news of their lovechild away from Johnson who became separated from Eastwood around the same time Kimber was born. To add salt to injury, Maggie was battling with hepatitis at the time. The separation was without legal filing, nevertheless, Eastwood went on with his promiscuity.

By the late 1960s, Maggie had reconciled with Eastwood after which they had two kids together, including jazz bass musician Kyle Eastwood born on May 19th, 1968 and fashion model and actress Alison Eastwood born on May 22, 1972. However, their reconciliation didn’t mean that Eastwood stopped cheating. His subsequent affairs forced Johnson to file for legal separation from him in 1978.

Maggie Johnson walked away with at least $25 million after her divorce from Clint Eastwood was finalized in 1984.

During the period in which Eastwood was married to Johnson, he cheated with over 15 women. At one point he even co-habited with his co-star Sondra Locke. After their legal separation, it took 6 years before they reached a settlement for their divorce. It is reported that Maggie walked away with between $25 million and $30 million as her divorce payout.

She is only one of the two women Eastwood ever married

Clint Eastwood has been in a relationship with more women than he can remember, however, he has only been married to two of them. His second marriage didn’t come until March 31, 1996, when he married Dina Ruiz, a news anchor who had interviewed him three years earlier in April 1993. She is 35 years his junior. They divorced in 2014.

Maggie got married again

While it took Eastwood years to find another woman to call his wife, the same wasn’t the case for Maggie Johnson who in 1985 married Henry Wynberg. Their marriage lasted for four years as they separated in 1989. Things have become very quiet from Johnson since then and it isn’t known to the media the current events happening in her life. She was seen on the red carpet event for the premiere of Eastwood’s 2009 biographic drama, Invictus.

The most recent photos of her to surface in the media (above) was in 2013 when she attended the wedding of her daughter Alison to Sculptor Stacy Poitras.
