Read about the WWE star who is making headlines and why she is trending. Also, find out the net worth of Tammy Lynn Sytch.

Tammy Lynn Sytch was once the most downloaded woman on AOL as Sunny, but those days are in the past. Despite her previous fame and induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011, Sytch’s life has been filled with legal problems and personal challenges in the past decade.

Her decline from her earlier success as one of the original WWE Divas and a prominent figure in professional wrestling during the 1990s is quite noticeable.

Who is Tamara Lynn Sytch?

Tamara Lynn Sytch known professionally as Sunny, is a famous American professional wrestling manager, valet, adult entertainer, and former ring announcer. She achieved much success as Sunny within the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, later WWE) in the 1990s and is considered the first Diva of WWF.

In 1996, America Online recognized her as the most downloaded celebrity on the internet. She later performed with her birth name in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and also Ring of Honor. She was eventually inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

Sytch had her high school education in the same school as Chris Candido, her long-time boyfriend, who later introduced her to the professional wrestling industry. He regularly managed Candido throughout his career and they stayed together until his death in 2005.

She was once again in school, studying Medical Technology in 2007. On February 4, 2016, Sytch released an autobiography which she dubbed “A Star Shattered: The Rise & Fall & Rise of Wrestling Diva Tammy ‘Sunny’Sytch.”

Why is Tammy Sytch trending?

Tammy Sytch is in the news after she was sentenced to 17 years imprisonment for manslaughter. Tammy Lynn Sytch had a chance to speak during her sentencing hearing. They kept repeating the phrase that she is “more than the worst thing she’s ever done.”

Her attorney pleaded for the judge to find a mix between incarceration and mental health rehabilitation. They did not want the full 25-year sentence, with six months of probation after that, but the prosecution pushed for the full incarceration period.

The prosecution brought up Tammy Lynn Sytch’s 3 DUIs in a 21-day span. These were not good looks as they brought up instances that we have extensively covered in the past regarding her tragic history of poor decision-making.

When the judge finally handed down her verdict, Judge Karen Foxman stated that these circumstances did not require the alternative sentencing that Tammy Lynn Sytch’s legal defense asked for. She also spoke about the “egregious” details about the case. Sytch was credited for submitting an open plea to the court.
